Heat the oil and scald the lamb in it. Add the curry and onion and fry.

Add the dates, wine, yoghurt and sour cream and simmer for about 45 minutes. Scoop out the meat and reduce the heat to half.

Pour the cooking liquid back over the meat and scoop in the baking dish. Preheat the oven to 190ºC.

Roll the slices of puff pastry together into a long piece and roll out the puff pastry over the dish. Cut and decorate with the leftovers if necessary.

Insert aluminum foil chimneys and fry the lasmerkrie with dates for another 45 minutes in the oven.
