Lamb skewers with tomato and paprika
A nice Turkish recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, onion, salt, lemon, lamb fillet patties or leg of lamb without bone, olive oil, dried paste, (freshly ground) black pepper, green pepper, yellow pepper and cherry tomatoes.

Onions peel and grate. In a sieve above the onion, sprinkle with salt and wet out. Squeeze out the lemon. Cut the meat into cubes of approx. 4 cm. Place the meat in a bowl and pour juice of onion and lemon and 2 tablespoons of oil over it. Sprinkle with thyme and pepper. Mix everything together and put the meat covered in the fridge for about 2 hours. Peppers wash, clean and cut each into 8 pieces. To wash.

Preheat the grill to the highest setting (or light the barbecue). Cut meat, to and cubes of peppers alternately on skewers. Cover with the rest of oil. Skewers are browned and cooked for about 6 minutes under hot grill, turning occasionally. Nice with pilav.
