Lean pig fricassee
A tasty French recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, basmati rice, olive oil, shallots (chopped), garlic (finely chopped), pork fillets à la minute ((300 g), in strips), chestnut mushrooms ((250 g), sliced), crème fraîche light (125 ml), garden peas extra fine (450 g, frozen), basil ((15 g) and only the leaves).

Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package.

In the meantime, heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the shallot and garlic for 3 minutes. Sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper and fry the shallot and garlic over a high heat for 2 minutes. Add the mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes. Turn down the heat and add the crème fraîche. Warm for another 2 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook the garden peas for 5 minutes and scoop them through the meat-mushroom mixture. Divide the rice and fricassee (the meat in the sauce) over 4 plates and sprinkle with the basil.
