Leeks with lemon and honey
A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: thin leeks, lemon, herb broth (from powder), butter, thyme and liquid honey.

Cut off leek bottom and dark green part of leaf.

Cut leek into 8-10 cm pieces, wash well and drain in colander.

Clean lemon peel, peel thinly off and press fruit.

Juice by stirring warm stock.

Melt butter in a skillet and turn pieces of leeks into it.

Sprinkle thyme leaves from sprigs and sprinkle with lemon zest, salt and pepper over leeks.

Drizzle honey over it and serve lemon broth with leek.

With lid on pan leeks in 10-15 min.

Oven, pieces regularly turn.

Delicious with breaded pork schnitzels or vegetarian schnitzels and baked potatoes..
