A tasty recipe. The dessert contains the following ingredients: lemons (cleansed), whole milk, whipped cream (250 ml), eggs and sugar.

Directions

  1. Grate the zest of 2 lemons and press the fruits.
  2. Cut the cap of the other lemons and lay aside.
  3. Using a sharp knife, cut the flesh of the lemons off the skin, scoop out with a spoon.
  4. If necessary, cut a cap from the bottom so that the lemons can stand upright.
  5. Put the flesh in a sieve and push out the juice with a spoon.
  6. Bring the milk to the boil with the cream and lemon zest.
  7. Separate the eggs and beat the egg yolks with the sugar to an airy mass.
  8. Pour in the warm milk and let the mixture thicken to the lowest possible heat while stirring to a smooth custard.
  9. It can not cook.
  10. Put the pan in a container with water and ice cubes, allow to cool to room temperature.
  11. Add 150 ml of lemon juice and pour the mixture into the ice cream maker until the ice cream (how long it takes depends on the ice machine).
  12. No ice machine.
  13. Pour the mixture into the freezer and put it in the freezer for 4 hours.
  14. Stir every hour with a fork.
  15. Remove the ice from the freezer, stir again and scoop it into the hollowed out lemons.
