Lentil cassoulet with chicken


A tasty French recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, olive oil, chicken frying sticks, lentils, garlic, baking bacon (meat products), beef bratwurst (skimmed), tomatoes, chicken broth (340 ml), red wine, thyme, bay leaves and (freshly ground) pepper.

Directions

  1. Heat oil in frying pan.
  2. Chicken frying sticks on medium-high heat in about 5 minutes around browning.
  3. Meanwhile, rinse in strains of lentils under running water and let them drain.
  4. Garlic peel and finely chop.
  5. Bacon cut into strips.
  6. Cut sausages into 3 cm pieces.
  7. Add garlic, bacon and sausage to chicken and gently fry approx.
  8. 5 minutes.
  9. Spoil occasionally.
  10. Dip tomatoes, dice and dice in boiling water.
  11. Cut tomatoes into quarters, remove seeds and cut flesh into cubes.
  12. Remove meat with skimmer from casserole and place on plate.
  13. Bake in shortening tomatoes for approx.
  14. 3 minutes.
  15. Cut chicken from pot stock.
  16. Stir in wine, stock, 3 dl water and lentils.
  17. Place meat with thyme and bay leaf in it.
  18. Add pepper to taste.
  19. Cover cassoulet covered in about 30 minutes until softly cooked.
  20. Serve in deep plates.
  21. Serve with dark brown baguette..
