Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.

Place the tomatoes in an oven dish.

Sprinkle with olive oil, pepper and salt and squeeze out the garlic.

Place the oven dish in the oven and roast the tomatoes within 20 minutes.

They are ready when they look wrinkly.

Roast the walnuts briefly in a frying pan and chop into coarse pieces.

Rinse the lentils and let them drain in a colander.
