Lettuce with egg and bacon
A tasty Dutch recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, eggs, bacon strips, lemon, mayonnaise and cabbage lettuce.

Cut 2 hard-boiled eggs into cubes.

Fry 125 g bacon strips gently crispy brown.

Drain on kitchen paper, keep the bacon fat.

Grate the skin of a 1/2 scrubbed lemon and squeeze out the fruit.

Beat in a wide bowl the juice with the grater, the bacon fat and 5 tbsp mayonnaise into a dressing, season with salt and pepper.

Wash and dry the leaves of 1 large head of lettuce and tear into pieces.

Mix the dressing with the lettuce.

Sprinkle with bacon and egg..
