Lettuce with egg and bacon


A tasty Dutch recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, eggs, bacon strips, lemon, mayonnaise and cabbage lettuce.

Directions

  1. Cut 2 hard-boiled eggs into cubes.
  2. Fry 125 g bacon strips gently crispy brown.
  3. Drain on kitchen paper, keep the bacon fat.
  4. Grate the skin of a 1/2 scrubbed lemon and squeeze out the fruit.
  5. Beat in a wide bowl the juice with the grater, the bacon fat and 5 tbsp mayonnaise into a dressing, season with salt and pepper.
  6. Wash and dry the leaves of 1 large head of lettuce and tear into pieces.
  7. Mix the dressing with the lettuce.
  8. Sprinkle with bacon and egg..
