Linguine with leeks and ham


Pasta with onion, garlic, leek, mustard, dairy spread, ham, lemon and capers

Directions

  1. Cook the pasta al dente according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Meanwhile, chop the onion and finely chop the garlic. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion, garlic and leeks for 5 minutes on low heat.
  3. Add the mustard, dairy spread and ham and heat the sauce for another 4 minutes on low heat.
  4. Meanwhile, clean the lemon, grate the yellow skin off and squeeze out half of the fruit.
  5. Stir in the grater and 2 tsp juice through the sauce and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  6. Drain the pasta and scoop through the sauce. Sprinkle with the capers and serve immediately.
