Marinated herring with tomato
A delicious scandinavian recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: fish, red onion, tomatoes, dill, diced herring, white wine vinegar, sugar, olive oil, ground pimento, mustard and salt and freshly ground pepper.

Peel onion and cut into thin rings. Wash tomatoes, cut in four and remove seeds. Cut fruit flesh into strips. Dill mincing. Remove the tail and last chunks of herrings and cut herrings diagonally into strips of approx. 1 cm thick. In shell vinegar, sugar, olive oil, allspice, mustard and salt and pepper beat to taste until dressing. Carefully remove herring, onion rings, tomato and dill through dressing. Covered for at least 4 hours (preferably 1 day) in refrigerator to marinate.

Switch herring again and put it on a buffet.
