Meatball in mexican sauce

A nice mexican recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, olive oil, grandmothers meatballs (2 dishes a 2 pieces), onions (chopped), ground cumin (djinten), tomato cubes (400 g), chilibones (400 g), sour cream (125 ml) and Pain de Madeleine (cornbread).

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs around brown. Remove from the pan, place on a plate and keep warm under aluminum foil. Fry the onion in the shortening. Add the cumin and cook for 1 min.
  2. Add the tomato cubes and chilli beans and bring to the boil. Turn down the heat, place the meatballs in the bean-tomato sauce and simmer with the lid on the pan over low heat for 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Divide the meat and sauce over 4 plates. Spoon a spoonful of sour cream and serve with the cornbread. Delicious with cucumber salad, made with 2 tbsp olive oil and 2 tbsp vinegar.
