Meatballs in beer sauce with bantam and green beans
Green beans, fried bantam and Dutch meatballs in a brown beer and apple syrup sauce.

Cook the potatoes in 10 minutes until done. Drain and drain.

Heat the butter and fry the potatoes with pepper and salt in 14 min. On medium heat until golden brown and done.

Heat the rest of the butter in a frying pan and fry the beef balls in 3 min. Brown.

Add the beer and the syrup, bring to a boil and simmer over medium heat for about 7 minutes.

Remove from the pan and keep warm under aluminum foil.

Boil the sauce over a high heat until it sticks to the back of a wooden spoon. This takes approx. 5 min.

In the meantime, remove the stalk of the green beans and boil the green beans in 7 minutes until al dente.

Drain and drain well. Sprinkle with the fried onions.

Serve the meatballs in beer sauce with the green beans and fried potatoes.
