Squeeze out the sauerkraut.

Chop the onion and finely chop the garlic. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the onion with the garlic in 5 min.

Add the sauerkraut, pour the chicken broth and place the lid on the pan.

Stew the sauerkraut 10 minutes on low heat in your own moisture.

Meanwhile, pat the to dry with kitchen paper and cut into thin strips.

Drain the moisture and season the sauerkraut with pepper. Mix the tomato through and taste if there is some salt.
