Mediterranean tomato salad with mozzarella

Directions

  1. Cut the tomatoes in four and scoop out the seeds.
  2. Sprinkle the tomato slices with salt and freshly ground pepper and let them drain into a sieve (above a bowl).
  3. Dab the bread roll mozzarella dry with kitchen paper and cut into cubes.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella with salt and pepper.
  5. Spoon the tomato wedges with the mozzarella, the basil and the olive oil in a bowl.
  6. Leave the salad for half an hour (not in the fridge!).
