Directions

  1. Put the chicken mince in a bowl. Mix the onion, the garlic, the ginger powder, the paprika powder, the egg yolk and a little salt and pepper with the mince. With sixty hands, remove six balls and take them through the flour.
  2. Cut the cleaned spring onions into rings and keep the light-colored and green parts separate.
  3. Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package.
  4. Heat the oil and / or the butter in a frying pan and fry the minced meat over medium heat for about 6 minutes per side until cooked and nicely browned. Remove the meatballs from the pan and keep them covered hot.
  5. Fry the white of the spring onion for 2 minutes in the remaining cooking fat. Quench the orange juice. Stir in the honey, the soy sauce, the tomato cubes and some salt and pepper.
  6. Spoon the tomato sauce through the rice. Divide the rice over the plates and put the meatballs on it. Sprinkle with the green of the spring onion.
  7. If desired, add green vegetables, such as peas or green beans.
