Fresh Cuban cocktail with mint, lime and brown rum.

Directions

  1. Keep some sprigs of fresh mint behind and pick the leaves from the rest of the twigs. Cut the leaves with your fingers or in a mortar. Squeeze the limes.
  2. Grind the ice cubes in the blender or icecrusher or put them between a tea towel and break them with a hammer.
  3. Spoon the ice cream into the cocktail shaker and add the rum, lime juice, icing sugar and crushed mint leaves. Close the shaker and shake for 30 seconds.
  4. Divide the ice cubes over the glasses. Pour in the mojito and garnish with the retained fresh mint and possibly a piece of lime.
