Directions

  1. Cut the lemon and orange into wedges, and break the cinnamon stick through the middle. Pour the wine in a large pan.
  2. Add the wedges, cloves and cinnamon sticks to the wine. Heat the mixture gently (do not let it boil, because then the alcohol evaporates).
  3. Let the flavors in the wine for at least 15 minutes. Sift the mulled wine and stir in sugar to taste.
