Mozzarella pasta salad with bacon
Salad of penne with mozzarella, bacon, avocado and tomato.

Boil the penne in plenty of water with a little salt according to the instructions on the package.

Halve the avocado in the length, remove the kernel and scoop out the pulp with a spoon. Cut the flesh into segments.

Cut the tomatoes and mozzarella into slices.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the bacon strips in 3 min. Remove the pan from the heat, stir the thyme through the bacon strips and season with pepper.

Drain the pasta into a colander and rinse under cold running water. Let it drain well.

Spread the pasta with the mozzarella, tomatoes and avocado on the plates. Sprinkle the bacon strips over it and serve.
