Heat the sunflower oil in a (frying) pan to 180ºC.

Using 2 greased spoons (or ice cream spoon), scoop balls from the batter and let them sink into the oil. Fry the oliebollen in about 4 minutes until tender and golden brown.

Remove from the pan and drain on kitchen paper.
