Clean the garlic and cut finely. Heat the oil in the soup pan and add the garlic, pumpkin and Italian herbs and cook for 5 min.

Add the water, bring to a boil and simmer for about 15 minutes on low heat.

Meanwhile, bring a large pan of water with salt, if necessary, and cook the pasta in 7 minutes until al dente.

Meanwhile, halve the cherry tomatoes. Heat a frying pan without oil or butter and fry the bacon strips in 5 min. Crispy.

Remove the bacon strips with the skimmer from the pan and drain on kitchen paper.

Drain the pasta. Mash the pumpkin with the hand blender into a smooth sauce and season with salt and pepper.

Divide the sauce over deep plates, divide the pasta, tomato and bacon.
