Oriental carpaccio with spring onion, ginger, tabasco and krupuk. Perfect appetizer or a snack with drinks.

Directions

  1. Cut half of the spring onion into thin rings and the rest into long, thin strips. Cut the ginger into small pieces.
  2. Stir in a bowl the spring onions, ginger syrup, oil, vinegar and soy sauce. Season with a few drops of tabasco.
  3. Halve the slices of carpaccio. Using a serrated knife, carefully cut the slices of prawn cracker into 8 equal pieces and top with the carpaccio.
  4. Carefully drizzle the sauce over it and then place the strips of spring onions and the pieces of ginger on them. Serve immediately.
