Oriental steamed cod with carrot dip

Ingredients
- 400 gram cod fillet
- 400 gram salmon fillet
- 2 teaspoon ginger
- 4 tablespoon soy sauce
- 4 tablespoon ketjapmarinademanis
- 1 tablespoon Sesame seed
- 2 tablespoon peanut oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoon wok oil before the dip
- 2 tablespoon peanut oil before the dip
- 300 gram root before the dip
- 2 clove garlic before the dip
- 1 pinch coriander powder (ketoembar) before the dip
- 1 pinch cumin powder (djinten) before the dip
- 1 dash sambal oelek before the dip
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice before the dip
- 1 tablespoon coriander before the dip
Directions

For the carrot dip, heat the oil and stir fry the carrot, garlic, coriander and cumin powder, sambal and lemon juice for about 3 minutes. Allow to cool.

Bring water in the steamer (or 5 cm water in the wok) to the boil. Dab the fish dry with kitchen paper. Divide the ginger, salt and pepper over the cod and place the fish in the steamer or on the grid in the wok. Put a lid on and steam the fish for 8-10 minutes, or until it no longer looks glassy.

Scoop the cooked fish from the pan onto warm plates and spread the soy sauce over it.

Roast the sesame seeds in a dry, hot frying pan. Add the peanut and sesame oil and spread the warm oil with the sesame seed over the fish.

Serve the cod with the carrot dip and sprinkle with the coriander. Tasty with rice.
