Oysters with ginger vinaigrette


A tasty recipe. The starter contains the following ingredients: fish, oysters, fresh ginger root (peeled), limes (pressed), fresh coriander (finely chopped), cayenne pepper and ice cubes.

Directions

  1. Put the oyster with a convex side downwards in a folded kitchen towel firmly against the work surface.
  2. Place the Oyster Knife between 2 shell halves in the hinge.
  3. Blade of knife to move back and forth to find sphincter of oyster.
  4. Cut the top of the sphincter and open the shell with a rotating movement.
  5. Keep the oyster upright so that oyster fish does not run out.
  6. Remove flat shell.
  7. Remove the underside of the sphincter so that the oyster is loosely in the shell, remove any grit.
  8. Ginger root root in firm garlic press above lime juice, stir in coriander and season with cayenne pepper.
  9. Roll the ice cubes in the tea towel and grind them with a rolling pin or hammer.
  10. Divide ice on a scale and place oysters in shell.
  11. Sprinkle each oyster with ginger vinaigrette.
