Paprika and chicken in oriental honey sauce


Stir fried chicken with paprika and spring onion in oriental honey sauce

Directions

  1. Clean the peppers and cut into strips. Cut the spring onion into long slanted slices. Halve the almonds.
  2. Cut the chicken fillet into thin strips. Put in the coriander and ginger powder.
  3. Heat a wok or large frying pan over medium high heat. Roast the almonds halves light golden brown. Scoop out of the wok with a skimmer.
  4. Heat the oil in the wok stir fry the chicken strips in about 2 min. Brown. Season with salt and pepper and scoop out of the pan.
  5. Heat the oil and stir fry the pepper strips over a high heat for 2-3 min. Until crispy.
  6. Fry the spring onions for about 30 seconds. join and temper the fire. Spoon the coriander and ginger powder through the peppers.
  7. Add the chicken, almonds, honey, soy sauce, sherry and the water. Bring it to the boil while stirring.
