Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. In a mixing bowl, mix self-raising flour with brown sugar, biscuits and some salt. Break the eggs above and add ¼ of the amount of syrup. Add so much milk with stirring that it becomes a smooth batter.
  2. Pour the batter into the springforms and bake the cakes in the oven for 45-50 minutes. They are cooked like a skewer, pricked in the middle, dry out. Allow the cakes to cool for 5 minutes in the oven. Remove them from the mold and allow them to cool down further on a grid.
  3. Meanwhile, chop the nuts coarsely and roast them light brown in a dry frying pan. Put them in a bowl and mix in the remaining tablespoons of syrup. In a large bowl, beat the whipped cream with the yoghurt, sugar and whipped cream stiffener.
  4. Cut each cake into 2 layers. Divide ¾ of the nut mixture over 3 layers of pie and then spread generously with the cream mixture. Stack these 3 layers together on a nice, flat dish. Also put the last cake layer on it.
  5. Spread the remaining cream mixture over the top of the cake and pour some chocolate sauce over it in a circle. Pull the sauce with a fork through the cream for a marble effect. Divide the remainder of the nut mixture in the middle. Let the cake stiffen in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
