Pasta with tomato sauce and meatballs

Put the minced meat in a bowl and break the egg above it.

Add the breadcrumbs and the pesto and knead everything together well.

Divide the minced meat into equal portions so that you have five balls per person.

Do this with wet hands, so you get nice balls.

Heat two tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs around brown.

Add a dash of water and roast the balls gently in ten to fifteen minutes.

Cut the tomatoes into pieces and put them in the blender with the garlic and basil.

Puree the tomatoes into a smooth sauce.

Heat the remaining olive oil in a skillet.

Stir in the sauce and add some salt and freshly ground pepper.

Let the sauce simmer for ten minutes.

Bring plenty of water to a boil in a large pan and place the spaghetti in it.

Push the spaghetti that protrudes slowly into the water.
-
Boil the spaghetti in a maximum of twelve minutes.

Let the spaghetti drain briefly in a colander.

Stir in the spaghetti through the tomato sauce and warm everything for a short while.

Serve the spaghetti with sauce in deep plates and place the meat cakes on top of it.

Sprinkle the cheese over it.
