A tasty Italian recipe. The dessert contains the following ingredients: vanilla ice cream (a 1 liter container), cantuccini biscuits (pack 150 g), VinSanto Tegrino (red wine), sugar, vanilla pod (15 g bag) and peaches in light syrup (approx. 410 g).

Directions

  1. Take the ice cream 20 minutes in advance from the freezer.
  2. Keep 4 cantuccini biscuits, break the rest into pieces or crumble with the rolling pin.
  3. Scoop through the ice.
  4. Put the ice in a closed container and freeze again for at least 1 hour.
  5. Bring the wine with the sugar to the boil while stirring.
  6. Cut open the vanilla pod, scrape out the marrow with a knife tip.
  7. First add the marrow and then the juice of the peaches to the wine.
  8. Let the cooking liquid reduce to a syrup thickness for 10 minutes on a high heat.
  9. Spoon the peaches on a plate with a scoop of ice cream next to it.
  10. Pour the syrup over and garnish with the reserved cantuccini..
