Pearl balls
A nice Chinese recipe. The snack contains the following ingredients: meat, sushi rice, celery, half-to-half-minced, fresh ginger root (grated), cornstarch, dry sherry, Chinese cabbage (leaves), soy sauce (light), sweet chilli sauce and sesame oil.

Boil the pan in boiling water for 2 minutes and drain in a sieve.

Peel celery with peeler and cut into tiny cubes.

In bowl minced beef mix with celery, ginger, cornstarch, sherry and 1 tsp salt and well kneaded.

From chopped 12 balls of 2-3 cm diameter forms.

Sprinkle rice into deep plate and turn meatballs through rice so that they are covered with rice grains.

Press firmly.

Place cabbage leaves in steam baskets and put 6 meatballs in each basket.

Stacking baskets together.

Steam rack in wok sets and wok filling with water up to 2 cm under grill.

Bring water to the boil.
-
Put baskets on rack and cover with convex lid of wok.

Pearl balls simmered in 15-18 minutes.

Fry in soy sauce, chili sauce and sesame oil.

To serve pearl balls in steam basket.

Add dip sauce..
