Ingredients
- 200 milliliters White wine vinegar
- 200 gram sugar
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- Teaspoon cinnamon powder
- Teaspoon ginger powder (djahé)
- Teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 6 pears peeled, in small cubes, firmly
- 2 Red onion shredded
- 1 green pepper in mini cubes, without seeds
- 1 Red pepper in mini cubes, without seeds
Kitchen Stuff
Directions

Heat the vinegar with the sugar, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger and cayenne pepper without cooking and let it infuse for about 11 minutes.

Add the pears, onions and peppers and cook gently for about 5 minutes.

Fill the pots with this relish, turn the lids on and let it cool down. Tasty with roasted meat, chicken or a curry.
