Ingredients
Directions
-
Mix the vanilla sugar with the custard powder and stir with 1 tablespoon of cold milk.
-
Heat the rest of the milk and stir in the custard mixture with a whisk.
-
Bring to the boil while stirring and simmer for about 3 minutes.
-
Pour the custard into a bowl, place it in a container with cold water and allow the custard to cool completely while stirring.
-
Keep 1 tablespoon of the beaten egg for later use and beat the rest of the egg through the custard.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. In the meantime, put the slices of puff pastry together and roll them out on a floured sheet to form a large piece of 30x40 cm.
-
Sprinkle the baking sheet with a little sugar. Carefully place the dough sheet on the baking sheet and turn the edges a few centimeters inwards.
-
Brush the edges with a brush with egg and sprinkle with the rest of the sugar. Prick holes in the dough bottom.
-
Pour the custard custard in the middle of the dough and spread the custard to the outside with a spoon.
-
Place the plums with the convex side up on the custard.
-
Fry the plate cake at the bottom of the oven in about 25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool to lukewarm and cut into pieces.
