Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 100ºC.
  2. Divide the meringue into 3 parts.
  3. Stir in each part a few drops of food coloring (yellow, red, green etc.) to create a striped effect.
  4. With 2 metal spoons, place about 12 large morsels of meringue on the baking tray. Sprinkle them with colored specks.
  5. Bake for 2-2.5 hours in the oven until they are dry or until they can easily be removed from the baking paper with the bottom remaining intact.
