A tasty recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: firm pears, port (ruby), orange (scrubbed), hazelnuts and gorgonzola (blue cheese).

Directions

  1. Peel the pears from top to bottom with a peeler, leave the stalk on it.
  2. Put the pears side by side in a small pan (they must just fit in) and pour the port over it.
  3. Grate half of the orange peel and put the grater on the port.
  4. Bring the pears to a boil and let them cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
  5. Take the pears out of the pan and cook the port in 25 minutes until a syrup.
  6. Cut the pears in half and scoop out the core with a teaspoon (or a melon spice spoon).
  7. Chop the hazelnuts coarsely and roast them golden brown in a dry frying pan.
  8. Spoon 2 pear halves on each plate, drip some port syrup and serve the gorgonzola.
  9. Sprinkle with the hazelnuts..
