Portpeer with gorgonzola
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: firm pears, port (ruby), orange (scrubbed), hazelnuts and gorgonzola (blue cheese).

Peel the pears from top to bottom with a peeler, leave the stalk on it.

Put the pears side by side in a small pan (they must just fit in) and pour the port over it.

Grate half of the orange peel and put the grater on the port.

Bring the pears to a boil and let them cook over low heat for 10 minutes.

Take the pears out of the pan and cook the port in 25 minutes until a syrup.

Cut the pears in half and scoop out the core with a teaspoon (or a melon spice spoon).

Chop the hazelnuts coarsely and roast them golden brown in a dry frying pan.

Spoon 2 pear halves on each plate, drip some port syrup and serve the gorgonzola.

Sprinkle with the hazelnuts..
