Peel the potatoes.

Clean the snow peas.

Boil the eggs for 8 minutes and peel them. Cut them in half lengthwise.

Stir in the mayonnaise, the sour cream, the lemon juice and the capers.

Cut the cleaned herring into pieces of about 3 cm wide.

Boil the potatoes in slightly salted water for about 20 minutes.

Drain and steam them dry. Allow the potatoes to cool.

Cook the snow peas in about 6 minutes al dente. Drain and let them cool.

Cut the cooled potatoes into cubes.

Combine the potato cubes, snow peas and the mayonnaise mixture.

Divide this salad into 4 plates.

Place 2 half eggs in the center of each plate. Sprinkle the eggs with parsley. Arrange the pieces of herring around it.
