Directions

  1. Boil the potatoes in the shell for about 5 minutes. Drain, drain and cool.
  2. Cut the potatoes into equal cubes of about 3x3 cm. Cut the onions into quarters. Preheat the oven to 220ºC.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the oil with some (coarse) salt, pepper, a pinch of the spices and the lemon juice. Scoop the potato cubes and onions through them.
  4. Always put 2 pieces of onion and 1 bay leaf alternated with cubes of potato on a skewer. Place the skewers side by side on the baking tray and roast them in the middle of the oven in about 25 minutes until tender and golden brown.
  5. Turn the skewers after 15 minutes of oven time. Delicious with crème fraîche.
