Surprising decoration trick: puffed mihoen

A tasty recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: peanut oil (or sunflower oil) and mangoes.

Directions

  1. Put a plate with kitchen paper on it. Break the rectangular or square slices of mihun in half.
  2. Heat a large layer of oil, at least 5 centimeters, in the wok or saucepan. Check that the oil is hot enough. If you put a piece of bread in it, it has to be vibrant brown. Take out the piece of bread and always put a pick of it in the hot oil. Note: the rice noodles pop in a few seconds.
  3. Put the noodles directly with a slotted spoon from the wok on the plate with kitchen paper.
  4. Use the baked noodles to garnish the fennel soup with grilled portobello, for example. Or sprinkle the baked noodles with powdered sugar and use it to decorate desserts.
