Potato with onion

A tasty French recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: potatoes (slightly crumbly, cleaned up), olive oil, butter, onions (in rings) and parsley (leaf chopped).

Directions

  1. Cook the unpeeled potatoes in 18 minutes just until done. Allow to cool.
  2. In the meantime, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and half of the butter in a frying pan and fry the onion rings over low heat for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Meanwhile, peel the peel of the potatoes and cut into slices of 1 cm. Heat the rest of the oil and butter in another frying pan and fry the potatoes on low heat for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Scoop occasionally. Add the onion rings and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Serve the potatoes with the onion rings on a plate and sprinkle with the parsley.
