Heat the oil and fry the onion gently in about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and all the vegetable blocks and stir fry for a few minutes.

Add the herbs, tomato cubes and bouillon tablet and let it cook at medium height. Place the lid on the pan and let the ratatouille simmer for about 20 minutes at a low setting.

Add the beans and simmer for another 10 minutes. Sprinkle the ratatouille with the parsley or celery.

Tasty with boiled or baked potatoes.
