Cut the red cabbage into quarters and cut out the hard core. Cut the quarters into strips that are as thin as possible.

Heat the butter in a bite or stew pan and stir fry the coals on high heat 5 min.

Add the cranberries, wine and apple syrup.

Bring to the boil and simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes without lid. Stir frequently. Season with pepper.
