Red cabbage with tutti frutti
Stewed red cabbage with cinnamon, red wine and tutti frutti.

Cut the red cabbage in half lengthwise, remove the hard core and cut the coals into thin strips. Chop the onion.

Heat the butter in a large pan and fry the onion for 5 minutes on low heat. Add the salt, sugar, cinnamon sticks and wine and boil for 1 min.

Scoop the cabbage and frutti through and bring to the boil. Put the lid on the pan and simmer the mixture for 45 minutes on low heat.

Season with pepper and salt.
