Put the water with the sugar in a pan and bring to a gentle heat until the sugar is dissolved.

Meanwhile, squeeze the lemons until you have about 1 cup of juice.

Mix the cooled sugar water with the lemon juice. Stir well and pour into a bottle.

Add the lemon slices and the fresh mint and leave to cool in the refrigerator.
