Roasted beet with garlic


Beets from the oven with garlic, fresh thyme and lemon.

Directions

  1. Cut the garlic into thin slices and slide the leaves of the sprigs of thyme.
  2. Tear a piece of aluminum foil of 20 x 20 cm for each beet. Brush one side of the pieces of foil thinly with 1 tbsp oil.
  3. Preheat the oven to 225 ºC.
  4. Use a sharp knife to make cuts in the beets and put in the slices of garlic. Place each beet on a piece of foil.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and half of the thyme leaves. Fold the packages closed, put them on a baking tray and put in the oven for about 20 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, grate the yellow skin of the freshly scented lemon and squeeze out the fruit. Mix the lemon juice and grate with the oil.
  7. Unfold the packages, sprinkle them with the lemon oil and sprinkle the rest of the thyme leaves. Bon appétit! .
