Roasted chicken with cocoa and orange

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Mix the honey and cocoa well.
  3. Grate the peel of 1 orange and squeeze out the juice.
  4. Stir orange zest, juice, ginger and garlic into the honey.
  5. Bring a pot of water to the boil and place the chicken pieces in it. Let boil for about 2 minutes and drain.
  6. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper and place in a roasting pan. Rub the chicken pieces with the orange-cocoa mixture.
  7. Cut the remaining orange into slices and place it between the chicken.
  8. Sprinkle with the oil and roast the chicken in the oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown and done.
  9. Delicious with fries and a salad.
