Directions

  1. Rub the inside of the fondue pan with the garlic.
  2. Bring the vegetable stock to the boil. Stir in the grated (farmers) cheese in portions and at a low setting until all the cheese has melted.
  3. Stir in the diluted cornstarch and mustard through the cheese mixture. Cook gently for 2-3 minutes until the fondue is bound.
  4. Serve the cheese fondue in the pan on a racket on the table. Tasty with coarse brown bread.
