Salad of herring and potato


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, solid potatoes (scrubbed), green beans (450 g, frozen), smoked herring fillet (natural (200 g)), mustard, mayonnaise, low-fat curd, onion (chopped) and lamb's lettuce (75 g) .

Directions

  1. Cut the potatoes into slices and cook them in little water with salt in 15 min. Until done. Add the green beans halfway through the cooking time. Let the potatoes and green beans drain in a colander and cool them under cold, running water.
  2. Remove the skin from the herring fillet and cut the fillet into pieces of approx. 1 1/2 cm. Beat a dressing of mustard, mayonnaise, cottage cheese and 2 tbsp water.
  3. Spoon the potatoes, the green beans, the herring fillet, the dressing and the onion carefully. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Divide the lamb's lettuce over 4 plates and add the potato salad.
