Salmon in soy-honey sauce


Salmon fillet in a sauce of soy and honey, served with white rice and carrots.

Directions

  1. Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package. Meanwhile, fry the sesame seeds in a frying pan without oil or butter in approx. 2 min. Until golden brown. Let cool on a plate.
  2. In the meantime, clean the roots. Halve the roots in the length.
  3. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry for 2 minutes on a high heat. Add the honey, the soy sauce and the vinegar. Put the lid on the pan and simmer the carrots on low heat for about 10 minutes until al dente. Season with pepper and salt.
  4. Meanwhile, mix the rest of the honey with the rest of the soy sauce. Dab the salmon dry with kitchen paper. Brush with the soy honey sauce and sprinkle with pepper.
  5. Heat the rest of the oil in a frying pan and fry the salmon in approx. 6 min. Until done, turn halfway. Divide the salmon over the plates and serve with the rice and the carrots. Sprinkle with the sesame seed.
