Sandwich cakes with jam


Homemade cookies with raspberry jam in between. Is nice, tastes even better. Baking

Directions

  1. Sift the flour, baking powder, 5 spices and the salt over a bowl.
  2. Put the butter and granulated sugar in a different bowl and mix with a mixer in 5 min. Airy and creamy. Mix in the egg and vanilla flavor.
  3. Add the flour mixture and quickly knead to a cohesive dough. Put wrapped in cling film for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  4. Preheat the oven to 175 ºC.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured sheet with a thin cloth (approx. 3 mm).
  6. Put out cookies with the square protuberance.
  7. Place them on baking sheets lined with parchment with a distance of 2 cm between them. From the half with the smaller protrusions, insert an asterisk, flower or heart.
  8. Fry the cookies on the baking trays for about 10 minutes in the middle of the oven. Alternate the baking trays halfway through the baking time.
  9. The cookies are ready when they start to turn golden brown at the edges. Allow to cool for 5 minutes on the baking tray and for 1 hour on a rack.
  10. Brush the dense biscuits with a layer of raspberry jam. Push a biscuit with an outstretched shape on top.
  11. Sprinkle the sandwich biscuits with a thin layer of icing sugar. Yummy! .
