Directions

  1. Soak the skewers in water.
  2. Mix the soy sauce or ketjap marinade with the garlic, coriander powder (ketoembar), the lime juice and the wok oil.
  3. Spoon the shrimp (giant or cocktail shrimp) through it and marinate for about 10 minutes.
  4. Thread the shrimps onto the skewers. Heat a grill pan or oven grill and toast the saté for about 2 minutes per side. Invert once in between.
  5. Serve the saté udang with chili sauce or wok sauce sweet chili.
  6. Tasty with crackers.
