Sauerkraut dish with apple, beans and arugula


Fresh-sauerkraut dish with smoked sausage, apple julienne, white beans and arugula

Directions

  1. Heat the smoked sausage according to the instructions on the packaging.
  2. Meanwhile, put the beans in a colander, rinse under cold running water and let drain. Slice the garlic.
  3. Clean the apples, cut into quarters and remove the core. Cut the flesh with skin into thin strips (julienne).
  4. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the caraway seeds for 1 min on medium heat. Add the sauerkraut and garlic and cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
  5. Add the beans and heat for 4 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and carefully spread the arugula and apple strips.
  6. Cut the sausage into slices. Divide the sauerkraut over deep plates and put the sausage on it.
