Sauerkraut dish with banana and cheese
A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian main course contains the following ingredients: leeks (crops), butter, wine sauerkraut, white wine (or water), cornstarch, sour cream, mature cheese (diced), bananas (in slices) and grated cheese.

Halve the leeks in length and cut into pieces.

Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the leek very briefly.

Add the sauerkraut and let it fry for a while.

Add the wine and let the sauerkraut with the lid on the pan stew for 20 minutes.

Preheat the grill (10 minutes for sauerkraut is cooked) to the highest setting.

Stir in the cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and stir in the sour cream.

Pour the sour-cream mixture into the sauerkraut and simmer for 3 minutes.

Scoop the cheese through the sauerkraut and scoop the whole into a greased oven dish.

Divide the slices of banana and the grated cheese over the sauerkraut.

Place under the grill until the cheese has melted..
