Sauerkraut salad with grilled apple and cheese


A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian main course contains the following ingredients: sauerkraut (natural (500 g)), gold trains, extra virgin olive oil, apple juice, honey, mature cheese (Leids) and cubes).

Directions

  1. Put the sauerkraut in a sieve, remove the sauerkraut with a fork and drain well.
  2. Remove the core from the apples with an apple drill and cut the unpeeled apples into slices of cm.
  3. Brush the apples thinly with olive oil.
  4. Heat a grill pan and fry the apple slices on both sides for 1 minute.
  5. Beat the rest of the oil with the apple juice, the honey and salt and pepper to taste a smooth dressing.
  6. Mix the sauerkraut with the cheese and the dressing in a bowl.
  7. Divide the sauerkraut over 4 plates and add the grilled apple.
  8. Delicious with a slice of Frisian rye bread..
